The Foundry Dolores Hacker House

Our newest house, on Guerrero where it meets Market. It is a restored Victorian, split into three units, and each one has its own kitchen and its own shared space. The shared areas keep the original details: a coffered ceiling and bay windows over the city. One holds a long dining table, a big sofa and standing desks at the windows, so it is used for coworking during the day and for dinners at night. Every room has a full-size bed, a standing desk and storage; some look onto the street, others onto the quiet back of the house. Church St Muni Metro is about six minutes on foot and the N and J lines stop at Duboce and Church, five minutes away, so getting downtown does not need a car. Fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, laundry and all utilities are included. You live with other founders and engineers, which is the point: weekly dinners, a bi-weekly mastermind, investor dinners and a quarterly Demo Day happen across all the houses, and the person at the next desk is usually a few months ahead of you on a problem you are about to hit.
