Foundry McAlister is a 13-founder house in Western Addition, a residential pocket of SF that lands you 10 minutes from downtown, 5 minutes from Alamo Square, and within walking distance of NoPa's cafe scene and Hayes Valley's boutique stretch. NoPa is a 10-minute walk west for the best cafe + brunch scene this side of the Mission (The Mill, Mojo, Bi-Rite, Souvla, Nopalito). Hayes Valley is a 10-minute walk east: boutiques, Smitten ice cream, Patricia's Green. USF is a 15-minute walk west if you're commuting to campus or want to use the library.

Downtown SF (Civic Center BART) is a 10-15 minute Uber/Lyft or a 20-minute bus ride on the 5 Fulton or 22 Fillmore. SoMa is 15-20 minutes by car. SFO is ~35 minutes door-to-door.
